Kelsey Rogers is a Freelance Theatrical Designer based out of Seattle. She works primarily in costume design, but often forays into scenic design, props, paint, and model making. Kelsey believes in the power of theater to tell stories in inviting and evocative ways. It allows audiences to see through another person’s eyes and experience lives they may never live.
Her work has been seen at Village Theatre, Book-It Repertory Theatre, ArtsWest Playhouse, Seattle Public Theater, Strawberry Theatre Workshop, Thalia’s Umbrella, and many more. Kelsey graduated with a BFA in performance production from Cornish College of the Arts.
Kelsey won a Gypsy Rose Lee Award in 2017 for Excellence in Costume Design for her design in Milk Like Sugar. Kelsey was nominated for Theatre Puget Sound's 2017 Gregory Award for Outstanding Costume Design for her work on The Nance.
